My name is Megan Yates and I previously wrote the blog, Drink of the Vine, where I successfully reviewed over 90 wine bars in Manhattan. Everything changed when I became a mother and free time turned into a thing of the past! And I wouldn't change that for the world. I plan to continue sharing my passion for wine with this new outlet and it may be peppered with a few parenting anecdotes. I am now...the Sommomlier.

I live in NJ by way of Brooklyn and Jersey City with my husband and our three kids: a wild and sweet 5 year old boy, a feisty 2 year old girl with a personality bigger than she is, and a laid back, precious 6 month old girl. I hold the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 Advanced Certificate.
